Director of Finance Troy, NY 12180 7/22/2023 Apply on-line Now Position Description The ARC of Rensselaer County is a non-profit agency located in Troy NY supporting individuals with disabilities and their families throughout Rensselaer County.
We are currently looking for a Director of Finance.
This position is responsible for preparation of Monthly and Annual financial statements, comparison and analysis of budget variances, program unit reports and analysis, revenue and expense reconciliation and analysis and to assist in the annual budget preparation.
The Director also maintains the Fixed Asset Schedules and assists in purchasing/leasing of all vehicles for the agency.
In addition, this position is responsible for preparation of the Consolidated Fiscal report to NYS along with any other requested funding reports.
This position is also charged with preparing materials for the annual external audit and working with the audit firm and the CFO to ensure completion of the audit.
He/She will also assist in any funding source audits.
The Director of Finance oversees a staff of 3-5 individuals.
The ARC of Rensselaer County currently operates with a budget over $20M and is primarily Medicaid funded.
We are looking for an individual with experience with Medicaid funding and with the Consolidated Fiscal Reporting System.
Minimum educational requirements are a bachelors degree in business/accounting with at least five to seven years of administrative financial management experience.
Masters degree preferred.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment are a necessity.
Education/Experience Requirements Masters degree in business/accounting plus three or more years of experience with administrative responsibility, or Bachelors degree in business/accounting related area with five to seven years of administrative financial management experience.
