Responsibilities:
1.
Monitoring and observing the physical, mental, and emotional status of admitted client's day or night.
The Counselor Assistant completes rounds and logging information as well as all the other responsibilities.
2.
Daily and nightly monitoring and reporting on all Residential client rooms, kitchen, and common areas for program compliance, health, safety, and security.
3.
Reports progress on residence at every shift change.
4.
Provides assistant to residents, this includes motivation, support and encouragement for client goals.
5.
Logs telephone, personal visits and significant event or information during your shift into the Residential logbook.
6.
Assumes responsibility for managing and reporting incidents.
7.
Perform monitored urine drug screens as needed.
8.
Make calls to local ambulance service, fire department, police, or CDPC, as needed.
